On 16th April, the UK Supreme Court ruled that the terms “sex”, “man” and “woman” in the Equality Act refer to “biological sex” only, and do not extend to trans people with Gender Recognition Certificates (GRCs).
Since then, we’ve seen increased efforts to restrict the rights of trans people in Britain. We will keep fighting until all trans people in the UK are able to live safely, in dignity and with access to appropriate healthcare.
Check back on this page for more info and resources on our fight to restore our rights.
